Why your program is failing
By · CommentsNow is the time of year when most New Years resolutions start to go south! Yes, I’m sure some of your a sinking in your chair right now. It would be no stretch to say that a majority of all New Years resolutions center around some type of fitness goal. It would also be no stretch to say most of them fail! I would bet that most of our subscribers fall in the category of having made multiple Fitness New Years Resolutions that have not succeeded. Lets take a quick look at why it probably not the program or the diet that caused your lack of success.
First and most important to achieving any goal is something we have all heard 100 times your MUST WRITE THEM DOWN! No
t only your very specific goal but also plan of action. Let me share a study with you on how powerful this one action can be. A study of the 1953 graduates of Yale clearly demonstrates this point. The Graduates were interviewed and asked if they had a clear, specific set of goals written down with a plan for achieving those goals. Only 3% had such written goals. Twenty years later, the researchers went back and interviewed the surviving members of the 1953 graduating class. They discovered that the 3% with the written goals were worth more financially than the entire other 97% put together! This is the power of writing down your goals and a plan.
So I challenge you to stop right now and write down your goals and a specific plan to achieve those goals. Don’t stop there – commit yourself to them take them our every week and review them and your plan.
Decide what you want- be precise-clarity is power! Take action… Desire is not enough. Remember, that even the longest journey starts with a single, small step, and never forget that procrastination kills! Look at the positive and realize that short term failures often give you the insight you will need to meet your long term goals!
Have fun, get motivated, believe anything is possible, and get ready to make the most incredible progress over the next several months.
